Happy Halloween

BOO!
EEK!

Have a FUN Halloween!

Getting ready for Halloween

I love holidays. I try and go all out with decorations and fun activities for my kids.

We carved our pumpkin.
Daddy and Carter decided we wanted a scary face this year.

Carter picked out most of the seeds.
He wants to try and plant them.

The kids with Daddy and our jack-o-lantern

We made cupcakes with Halloween sprinkles

We decided to paint our smaller, pie sized pumpkins

And we made these SPIDERS!

Trick or Treat on Main

Jenny is my "always game" to go friend.
Brody and Carter and great buds.
There is this AMAZING photographer that blows me away every time I see her work.
I was looking on her website, and saw that in a neighboring town she was taking pictures of kids in their costume as part of the Trick or Treat on Main Street that night.
I called Jenny, grabbed the costumes and we were on our way.

Carter's picture is their MAIN PICTURE on their website.
This picture was sent to the 200 parents that had their child(rens) picture taken that night with directions on how to download/order.

I think Carter's picture is amazing, gorgeous and magical!

Ella did not want to get her picture taken. She is very cautious around people in costumes...
Her shot is beautiful. I love the twinkle in her eye.

I am going to this town every year just to get these pictures!

We also met up with a balloon artist!
Carter got a Spider Man to match his costume

Ella got Cinderella

Trunk or Treat 2012

Holy Trinity had Trunk or Treat last night.
It was so much more fun this year since Carter was a part of the school.
He saw people he knew everywhere.
SO MUCH FUN.

Happy Fall Y'All

FALL
Cooler weather and leaves!

We are so lucky to have the park at the end of the block.
The kids had fun rolling around in the leaves!

Lazy Weekend

Lazy Weekend-- doesn't everyone need one?
It was so nice to relax and have a fun one at home.

Our friends were going to the races at the Speedway, so we got to spend at few hours with their youngest. Ella loves playing with Caroline.

They set up the table and chairs by the door.

Silly faces- sticking out their tongues

Sleep Over

Ryan, Jennifer, Jay, Devin and Elaina came for a visit on Friday night.
We had pizza and cupcakes at Papa's House to celebrate Devin's Birthday.
Then Jay came and stayed the night at our house.

They fell asleep within 10 minutes and didn't wake up until after 7am.
Carter has already asked when he is coming back to visit.

Ethan Thomas

At daycare, there are two boys named Ethan.
Ella refers to them as Ethan Thomas and Ethan James.

Ethan Thomas is Emily's little brother.
Friday was his last day at Debbie's House.
It is sad to see him go. They have moved and are no longer our neighbors.

The kids at Debbie's house celebrated with a McDonald's lunch.
I came and took a few pictures after nap.

Ethan Thomas and Ella

They are great friends.
Kisses...

and hugs!

Charlotte was sick at home, so she was not there.

We will miss seeing his happy face at Debbie's each day.
I think Ella will have a hard time adjusting. They play together a lot.

Then Ella hopped on this toy and rode home.

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

I took the day off on Friday to join Carter's class on their field trip.
They went to a pumpkin patch in Eudora, near Lawrence.
It was a fun time and I saw lots of smiling faces.

They had a hay bale maze that was fun to play in!
